I’m Giuseppe Guarino, an e-commerce Solution Architect
I have worked in e-commerce for more than ten years. I started in software and, project by project, increasingly found myself bridging the gap between the people setting commercial goals and the teams turning them into systems that work in practice.
I have held CTO roles since 2017, coordinating internal teams and external partners. My work has included Magento to Shopify Plus migrations, ERP and payment integrations, and applications built around processes that standard products could not cover.
I am comfortable on both sides of the conversation: discussing architecture, risk and priorities with management, then getting into the code with the delivery team. My background covers backend, frontend, React Native apps and infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud.
Today I work as an independent consultant. I join projects that need clarity around a technical decision, a migration that has stalled or a connection between Shopify and the rest of the business. I can stop at the design or stay with the team through delivery.
